What is Digital Switchover?

What will I need?
If you do not have a digital TV set you will need to replace it or buy a digital set top box.
You may also need a new aerial - if you are currently receiving your signals from Heathfield and your existing aerial is old, it will probably be what we call a group CD aerial. This means it specifically covers analogue channels from 49 to 68. In order to receive all the digital multiplexes from Heathfield you will need an aerial that can receive outside the CD bandwidth.

It may seem a long way off, but planning now could avoid an expensive rush at the last minute. Moreover: if you switch now, you will be able to watch dozens of extra channels straight away.
