FREEVIEW

Contrary to popular belief, digital FREEVIEW signals are available in the Eastbourne and Bexhill area's. The FREEVIEW signals are transmitted from the Hastings transmitter and not from the main transmitter designated for this area. There are of course a few locations where a signal can not be received but in the majority of cases all that is required is a professional installation of a quality High Gain wideband aerial and a set top box.

We use primarily use the XG10,Vision 32 and Televes wideband UHF aerials for Freeview reception. If you currently receive your analogue signals from the Heathfield transmitter then we recommend that you consider retaining this signal. The reason behind this thinking is that the analogue signals from the Hastings transmitter are affected by co-channel interference during periods of high pressure whereas Heathfield is not as badly affected if at all.

What does our installation include?

• We will measure and test the available signals to ensure you are receiving the best possible digital and analogue signals
• We will supply and install a complete new digital aerial
• We will connect up your TV, DVD, Freeview box or IdTV
• We will replace your existing mast and bracketry if necessary
