Blount Aerials are a truly local family firm who have been trading since 1971 and remains in the same ownership to this day.

We specialise in installing and repairing analogue and digital FREEVIEW terrestrial aerials, VHF/FM radio aerials and DAB digital radio aerials. We also supply and install the new FREESAT launched this year by the BBC/ITV and are a SKY agent and installer.

We pride ourselves on the reputation we have built up over the last 38 years with the vast majority of our work coming from recommendations and from long standing customers.

We expect a high standard of service and customer care from our staff. It is most important that they are polite, courteous, punctual, clean and remember that they are working in our customer's homes, which should be treated with respect. All members of staff have attended Working at Heights courses and have obtained their NVQ in Electrical & Electronic Servicing (Signal Reception) Level 2.

We are now one of the few Companies who are Registered Digital Installers. This ensures that all our staff not only have the necessary NVQ qualification but also are CRB checked for your security and that they are fully insured to carry out any work on your property.

We are also a Buy With Confidence Approved Trader. Trading Standards officers have carried out stringent checks of our business and we are constantly monitored.

We are founder members of the Confederation of Aerial Industries with CAI PLUS status (membership number COO3) and we are a former 'Company of the Year' gaining 95% during an inspection carried out by the CAI Inspector, Tim Jenks MSCTE. In summing up Tim said 'A most pleasing inspection. As well as turning out well for the company it does  the inspector good as well. Blount Aerials set standards others would do well to aim towards. They will be a verbal reference point on my inspection travels.'
